Nisha Shah loves working with lower elementary students, watching their academic and social development bloom. She has an appreciation for the program’s Great Lessons which allow students to learn in such a creative and interactive way, introducing multiple types of science, math, and language lessons, beyond traditional thinking. Ms. Nisha is a peace maker and brings empathy and compassion into the classroom, helping students navigate problem solving skills and their emotional development. She joined STA Montessori in 2018 but has been working with children of all ages since she was 16 years old and teaching Montessori since 2010.  

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Nisha enjoys reading and traveling with her husband and two amazing young children. 

Ms. Nisha earned a Bachelor of Art in education from George Mason University.  She completed her AMS Montessori certification at The Barrie Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies and holds a State of Florida teaching certificate.
