Nancy Jacobsen-Smith is a kind and caring individual who values the process of developing and nurturing individual relationships. Mrs.Jacobsen believes in a peaceful and positive classroom environment and has a deep connection to nature and animals. Her personality is consistently warm, welcoming and calm.

Nancy and her husband have enjoyed making Saint Augustine their home since 2006. They have three daughters with whom they enjoy camping, hiking, sports, and all water-related activities. They often visit South Florida and enjoy sportfishing, snorkeling, and the Everglades.

In 2015, she became a certified teacher and has spent the last 8 years teaching full time in Saint Johns County. She holds professional certifications for all subjects (PreK-3rd) and Art (k-12). Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and is currently working on her master’s degree in Education.
